FRIDAY - Today we travel to RHS Wisley - one of the Worlds greatest gardens. Lunch is available.
SATURDAY - visit to 'a hidden jewel' - Frogmore House in Home Park adjacent to Windsor Castle (only open 6 weeks each year). The house was loved so much by Queen Victoria that she chose this site for the mausoleum to herself and Prince
Albert. Time for lunch in Windsor before our River Thames Cruise when the crew will 'tell all' as we pass the homes of the rich and famous. During the cruise afternoon tea will be served.
SUNDAY - Late morning we arrive at Woburn Abbey, one of the great Treasure Houses of England and home of the Dukes of Bedford for over 400 years. See the family collection of precious silver and gold in the vaults.

FRIDAY - Coffee stop en-route to Newark Showground where we visit the Newark Antique Fair. The fair is the largest in Europe with up to 4,000 stalls, 10 buildings and 44 marquees. This annual event attracts dealers and private buyers from all over the World. Late afternoon we drive to our hotel in Huntingdon; dinner included.
SATURDAY - This morning we visit Cambridge. An official City guide will take us on a walking tour of the main sites including Kings College. Free time for lunch before departing for Ely with the famous Cathedral - one of the most magnificent in England with its unique octagon tower. Dinner at the hotel.
SUNDAY - After breakfast we visit Sandringham House the country retreat of the Queen. Lunch available - depart mid afternoon for home.

FRIDAY - Leaving Yorkshire we travel to Royal Leamington Spa with its elegant shops and arcades. Time for lunch before leaving for Wales. The Copthorne dining theatre presents Broadway and West End style live musical performances combined with dinner - tonight is "Musical Express"
SATURDAY - We have a tour of Cardiff with Margaret Butler, a professional guide. Lunch available in the restored Cardiff Bay area. Afternoon visit to Tintern Abbey near Chepstow - built in 1131 in the beautiful Wye Valley. Tonight another show "It's a Swing Thing" featuring the music of the "Rat Pack".
SUNDAY - After breakfast we take a scenic drive through the Cotswolds with a coffee stop in Burford and lunch stop at picturesque Stow on the Wold.

SATURDAY - Ilkley last pick-up on our way to Holker Hall in the Lake District. The hall, home of Lord and Lady Cavendish, is set in exceptionally beautiful countryside with gardens that merge into parkland framed by the Lakeland Hills. Today the hall hosts a Festive Winter Market.
SUNDAY - A visit to nearby Hadrian's Wall, built around AD122. One of the sixteen permanent forts - Houseteads - is one of the best preserved. The area conjures up an evocative picture of Roman military life and the museum shows how much and how little things have changed. We visit Carlisle for lunch and Keswick in the afternoon.
MONDAY - via Grasmere to Ambleside where we board our Boat for a scenic journey across Windermere to Bowness. Time for lunch and shopping before departing mid-afternoon.

SUNDAY - This morning a visit to Stowe School. Numerous famous architects worked at Stowe House and Gardens. Among them were Sir John Soane, Robert Adam, William Kent and Sir John Vanbrugh. In the afternoon we visit Althorp House, home of the Spencer family for over 500 years. Our visit will include an introductory talk, guided tour of the house, a souvenir guide book and Afternoon Tea served in the State Dining Room on the Spencer Family china.
